The warning signs
None of these is automatically a dealbreaker on its own. But the more of them you see, the more reason to slow down:
- They can't or won't tell you who's injecting you, or whether that person is licensed.
- There's no named physician or medical director anywhere — just a vague "our doctor."
- Prices are a secret until you're already in the chair.
- The reviews are glowing, but they all appeared in the same week or two.
- You're pressured to buy a big package or membership on the spot, today, before the discount "expires."
- The deal is dramatically cheaper than everywhere else, with no explanation of why.
- No real consultation — they're ready to inject before they've asked about your history.
What they have in common
Every one of these is a sign that something is being hidden or rushed — who's treating you, what it costs, whether the reviews are real, or whether anyone actually assessed you first. A practice doing the work the right way has no reason to hide any of it, and answers all of it without flinching.
Trust the flinch. If asking a simple question makes the room tense, that tension is your answer.
