A family business, literally
Mystique Medical Spa in Fresno is run by the Krikorians, and the org chart reads like a holiday table. S.S. Krikorian, DC, QME — a chiropractor and Qualified Medical Examiner — is the founder. Barbara Krikorian Tryk is the COO. Another family member runs the front office. It is the opposite of a private-equity roll-up wearing a soft name.
By the practice's account, Mystique introduced Botox to Fresno. Whatever the precise history, the longevity is not in dispute: this is a Central Valley institution, not a pop-up.
The receipts
Its lead injector, Abby, FNP-C, is an Allergan Master Expert trained through CoolSculpting University. The treatment menu is current — CoolSculpting Elite and CoolTone, DENSITY skin tightening, SKINVIVE, microneedling — but the reason to trust it is the decades behind it.
It is Aura Screened, and since 2026-09-01 that means exactly three public records held when Aura last looked: Google showed it open, the licence the state ties to its address was current with no discipline record against it, and two independent public records placed a licensed provider at that address. The website checks — a website that holds up, details that agree between the listing and the site, and advertising that stays legal — are still run and still shown on the page, but they are not what the mark turns on. It does not mean a medical director's documents were read by hand; that is the Verified tier. It does not mean anything about when the reviews arrived, which Aura does not check at all.
Why it made the series
The aesthetics industry is consolidating fast, and a lot of the warmth is being optimized out of it. A family that has answered to the same city for decades has a kind of accountability no chain can buy: they cannot leave. If you are in the Valley, that is worth something — and it is worth reading their listing next to the rest.
