The plain facts
GlowRanked facts
GlowRanked is a public register of medical spas in California, narrated by Aura.
It is a record of what public sources show about each spa and when each source was read. It does not rate a spa or recommend one.
What the three names mean
- Listed · Free
- Listed is automatic: an open California med spa in Google’s data.
- Aura Screened · Free
- Aura checks every California med spa against three public records: that Google shows it open, that the licence the state ties to its address is current with no discipline on file, and that two independent public records place a licensed provider there. Only the ones where all three agree get the mark.
- GlowRanked Verified · Paid by the spa
- GlowRanked Verified asks for six safety items: who is in charge, who injects, real product, readiness for a complication, insurance, and who performs the good faith exam. The documents are renewed once a year, and the public records behind them are re-checked by hand every three months.
The absence of the Aura Screened badge is not a verdict on a spa. A badge can be missing because a record was not found, could not be matched to the spa, or has not been checked. Each spa’s page shows what was checked and what was not.

- 5,805 med spas are listed.
