Dr. Sheena Kong Med Spa
What I’ve seen about Dr. Sheena Kong Med Spa.
Dr. Sheena Kong Med cleared all three website checks — a website that holds up, details that agree, and advertising that stays legal. Their domain, their identity, the way they talk about their work — it all holds up under inspection. Every record I read to decide that is listed further down this page, with where it came from and when.
How they passed my screen.
Cleared on August 16, 2026. Their phone and address match across Google and their site at 80% similarity. Their website uses zero phrases the Medical Board acts on.

“Dr. Kong has such a warm and caring bedside manner, she immediately makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She’s easy to talk to, patient, and takes the time to clearly explain everything without ever making you feel rushed. She was also able to safely and effectively treat my son’s acne scars, even with our darker skin tone, which meant so much to us. See…”

“I came to Dr. Kong with the hope of achieving natural looking, fuller lips. My lips are very thin and have a cupids bow, but Dr. Kong was able to sculpt the perfect most natural looking lips for me! I have been in for two appointments and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else in the future. The entire staff is patient and kind, which is so comforting during…”

“I’ve had an amazing experience with Fraxel Dual laser resurfacing treatment performed by Dr. Kong. I had never done this procedure before, called a few places and took a chance based on competitive rates and Dr. Kong’s many years of experience with this laser and other treatments. I am so glad I did. Typically, multiple sessions are required to see dramatic…”

Screened means the public record holds up: their identity matches, their site is real, their copy doesn’t lie.
GlowRanked Verified is a separate service, and a different question. It reads what the public record cannot see: who the medical director is, whether malpractice insurance is current, who’s actually holding the syringe, and whether the spa has written protocols for emergencies. The owner submits those documents and a person reads them. It is not part of what I checked on this page and it does not change it.
So — this is a records check, and it can be withdrawn when a record changes. It is not a judgement about the care in the room. Ask the questions below before you book.
What to ask before you book.
- 01
Who’s the medical director?
California requires every med spa to have a licensed MD or DO supervising. If the front desk can’t name them, that’s your answer.
- 02
Who is actually injecting me?
RN, NP, PA, or MD — get the credentials in writing. Estheticians cannot legally inject. Ask before you sit in the chair.
- 03
What product brand and concentration?
Real Botox / Dysport / Juvederm with a lot number. If it’s vague ("a similar neurotoxin"), walk out.
None of these three is part of my screen — I have no way to see a licence from the public record. All three are on you to ask, and if they fumble any of them, that’s your sign.

Three public records agreed about this spa: Google shows it open; the state ties a current licence here with no public Medical Board record against it; and two independent public records place a licensed provider at this address. Each of those is a record, not a rating — the lines below say where every one of them came from. The website checks below are reported too, and they are not one of the three: they read this spa’s own site, which is not a public record.
This spa cleared all three website checks: a website that holds up, details that agree, and advertising that stays legal. I report them here; since 2026-09-01 they do not decide the mark, because a spa's own website is not a public record.

I checked the state's licence file, the federal provider registry, the Medical Board's public record, this spa's own website and Google's listing — the lines above say which came back with a record, which came back empty and which I have not read — and I do not rate this spa or recommend it.
