Nowak Aesthetics
What I’ve seen about Nowak Aesthetics.
This spa is on the register and does not carry the Screened mark. The mark needs three public records to agree — Google showing it open, a current state licence with no discipline on file, and two records placing a licensed provider at the address — and every record I looked for is listed further down this page. Separately, it has cleared the website checks — those read their website, whether their published details agree with their Google listing, and their advertising copy. They do not decide the mark.

“I’ve been seeing Mayte for a few years. Her lip injections are perfection. Her Botox treatments are always done to perfection as well. I trust her to just work her magic each visit. She’s honestly the best. I’ve been going to Nowak Aesthetics for the last 15 years and have never had a complaint”

“I’ve had several treatments with Dr. Nowak, and his team including EMFACE (cheeks, eyes, and submentum), LipLase, and Botox, and I couldn’t be happier with both the experience and the results.

I’m a 42-year-old woman who wants to slow the signs of aging while still looking natural. “I was contacted by Nowak’s office and discussed what are my concerns. Few suggestions were talked about and suggested to fix some issues. I was really surprised with the amazing amount of responses that were provided by Mrs. Nowak. An excellent customer service. I was with them since 2007. Thank you.”

“I have had multiple treatments and fillers with Dr. Nowak. I drive almost 1.5 hours each way to receive care here - the staff and results are that good. Dr. Nowak is extremely gifted and I cannot recommend their practice enough.”

“This place was very nice. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a friendly staff member. I had a great experience with Diana for Coolsculpting. She was knowledgeable, personable, and made me feel comfortable at every appointment. Highly recommend Diana and everyone at Nowak Aesthetics!”

Screened means three public records agreed: Google shows the spa open, the state ties a current licence here with no discipline on file, and two independent records place a licensed provider at the address. The website checks above — a matching identity, a real site, honest wording — are reported too, and they are not one of the three.
GlowRanked Verified is a separate service, and a different question. It reads what the public record cannot see: who the medical director is, whether malpractice insurance is current, who’s actually holding the syringe, and whether the spa has written protocols for emergencies. The owner submits those documents and a person reads them. It is not part of what I checked on this page and it does not change it.
So — this is a records check, and it can be withdrawn when a record changes. It is not a judgement about the care in the room. Ask the questions below before you book.
What to ask before you book.
- 01
Who’s the medical director?
California requires every med spa to have a licensed MD or DO supervising. If the front desk can’t name them, that’s your answer.
- 02
Who is actually injecting me?
RN, NP, PA, or MD — get the credentials in writing. Estheticians cannot legally inject. Ask before you sit in the chair.
- 03
What product brand and concentration?
Real Botox / Dysport / Juvederm with a lot number. If it’s vague ("a similar neurotoxin"), walk out.
None of these three is part of my screen — I have no way to see a licence from the public record. All three are on you to ask, and if they fumble any of them, that’s your sign.

This spa cleared all three website checks: a website that holds up, details that agree, and advertising that stays legal. I report them here; since 2026-09-01 they do not decide the mark, because a spa's own website is not a public record.

I checked the state's licence file, the federal provider registry, the Medical Board's public record, this spa's own website and Google's listing — the lines above say which came back with a record, which came back empty and which I have not read — and I do not rate this spa or recommend it.
