“Deciding to have a facelift was not easy, but choosing the surgeon was! I appreciate the exceptional care I have received from Dr Tate and his amazing staff and could not be happier with my results. I am probably not the easiest patient, being a very particular aesthetics nurse and married to a surgeon, but I was always greeted with a smile and every questio…”

“Wonderful experience with Dr. Tate and his entire team. I felt cared for as an individual from my first appointment through my post surgical follow-up. All the procedures were explained thoroughly and my recovery and outcome are better than expected.”

“Wonderful staff and an amazing doctor. Very personable and warming environment. I went to Dr. Tate for a septor rhinoplasty. My right nostril would constantly collapse on breathing. Dr. Tate did an amazing job and everything went very well. My nostril is no longer collapsing and healed with little to no scar. I highly recommend!”

“My experience with Centre for Facial Plastic Surgery couldn’t have been better. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Their expertise and experience was shared freely and prepared me for my procedure (pre. and post). Dr. Randy Tate is skilled at his profession. We are very lucky to have him here in Redding! He explained my procedure completely a…”

Next 30-day re-screen · July 4, 2026 · Badge revokes automatically if anything slips.
Screened means the public record holds up: their identity matches, their site is real, their copy doesn’t lie. It’s the floor — the bare minimum I’d send a friend toward.
GlowRanked Verified is the next bar — and a harder one. It checks what the public record can’t see: who the medical director is, whether malpractice insurance is current, who’s actually holding the syringe, and whether the spa has written protocols for emergencies. Centre For Facial Plastic Surgery hasn’t earned it yet — Aura would love to help them get there.
So — Screened is real, and revokable. Take it as a starting point, not a finish line. Ask the questions below before you book.
What to ask before you book.
- 01
Who’s the medical director?
California requires every med spa to have a licensed MD or DO supervising. If the front desk can’t name them, that’s your answer.
- 02
Who is actually injecting me?
RN, NP, PA, or MD — get the credentials in writing. Estheticians cannot legally inject. Ask before you sit in the chair.
- 03
What product brand and concentration?
Real Botox / Dysport / Juvederm with a lot number. If it’s vague ("a similar neurotoxin"), walk out.
I check the first two on every spa I screen. The third is on you, babe — but if you ask and they fumble it, that’s your sign.
