“Esthelab has become my new favorite Med spa! Nami and Seyoung have really created such a special place, everything from their level of expertise, the ability to educate me on what my skin needs and provide a program for me to achieve the results I'm looking for has been beyond impressive. I have never felt so taken care of and on the same page with my beauty…”

“I had a great time visiting Esthelab! The staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable. I got a skin analysis done and they really took their time to go over the results with me and their recommendations for how I can improve my skin. I will definitely be back!”

“I loved every part of this experience! I liked how detailed the skin care process was. It was so relaxing and can’t wait to go back! Also loved how they weren’t trying to sell me on other procedures and products! Truly just focused on just the reason for that appointment. Thank you!”

“this place is awesome and the staff are extra attentive and really care about their clients. The space is in a great area, lots of street parking and super clean. We were a bit late for our apointment and seyong made time to accommodate our mishap with tons of grace and a big smile. The NP's here are gentle and really knowledgeable of their craft. Not the me…”

Screened means the public record holds up: their identity matches, their site is real, their copy doesn’t lie.
GlowRanked Verified is a separate service, and a different question. It reads what the public record cannot see: who the medical director is, whether malpractice insurance is current, who’s actually holding the syringe, and whether the spa has written protocols for emergencies. The owner submits those documents and a person reads them. It is not part of what I checked on this page and it does not change it.
So — this is a records check, and it can be withdrawn when a record changes. It is not a judgement about the care in the room. Ask the questions below before you book.
What to ask before you book.
- 01
Who’s the medical director?
California requires every med spa to have a licensed MD or DO supervising. If the front desk can’t name them, that’s your answer.
- 02
Who is actually injecting me?
RN, NP, PA, or MD — get the credentials in writing. Estheticians cannot legally inject. Ask before you sit in the chair.
- 03
What product brand and concentration?
Real Botox / Dysport / Juvederm with a lot number. If it’s vague ("a similar neurotoxin"), walk out.
None of these three is part of my screen — I have no way to see a licence from the public record. All three are on you to ask, and if they fumble any of them, that’s your sign.

This spa cleared all three website checks: a website that holds up, details that agree, and advertising that stays legal. I report them here; since 2026-09-01 they do not decide the mark, because a spa's own website is not a public record.
This spa names a provider on its own website, the state shows a current physician licence in that name as of 2026-09-04, and the state does not place that licence at this address. Read 2026-09-04.

I checked the state's licence file, the federal provider registry, the Medical Board's public record, this spa's own website and Google's listing — the lines above say which came back with a record, which came back empty and which I have not read — and I do not rate this spa or recommend it.
