The Dermatology Center at Ladera
What I’ve seen about The Dermatology Center at Ladera.
This spa is on the register and does not carry the Screened mark. The mark needs three public records to agree — Google showing it open, a current state licence with no discipline on file, and two records placing a licensed provider at the address — and every record I looked for is listed further down this page. Separately, it has cleared the website checks — those read their website, whether their published details agree with their Google listing, and their advertising copy. They do not decide the mark.

“Dr. Jack has been great with my 8 year old daughter. We thought she had a nickel allergy and after unsuccessfully changing earrings 4 times, her rash persisted. Dr. Jack was great in diagnosing and treating her rash. As a fellow physician, I was impressed by his knowledge and bedside manner. Special shoutout to Michelle in the office for helping get her…”

“Dr. Mundi is the best. I was starting a medication new on the market that had a high likelihood of causing skin issues. Dr. Mundi took the time to educate herself about it and was able to quickly get me in for an appointment and take care of me when I did have issues. Her office is topnotch is supporting patients.”

“Had never EVER been to a dermatologist before. Decided it was time to get a couple skin tags and other spots removed. I was able to get an appointment incredibly quickly. What I wasn't expecting was how swift the procedure actually is. Dr. Jack is incredibly knowledgeable and talked me through the whole procedure. Painless, easy, and straight to the point. I…”

“I’ve been a patient with Dr. Lener for 24 years now and she’s kept me alive (and calm!) through 2 melanoma (in situ’s) and a plethora of basal & squamouses. My children have had acne treatments and childhood skin issues resolved with much kindness and care to boot. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this practice. During a period when this practice wa…”

Screened means three public records agreed: Google shows the spa open, the state ties a current licence here with no discipline on file, and two independent records place a licensed provider at the address. The website checks above — a matching identity, a real site, honest wording — are reported too, and they are not one of the three.
GlowRanked Verified is a separate service, and a different question. It reads what the public record cannot see: who the medical director is, whether malpractice insurance is current, who’s actually holding the syringe, and whether the spa has written protocols for emergencies. The owner submits those documents and a person reads them. It is not part of what I checked on this page and it does not change it.
So — this is a records check, and it can be withdrawn when a record changes. It is not a judgement about the care in the room. Ask the questions below before you book.
What to ask before you book.
- 01
Who’s the medical director?
California requires every med spa to have a licensed MD or DO supervising. If the front desk can’t name them, that’s your answer.
- 02
Who is actually injecting me?
RN, NP, PA, or MD — get the credentials in writing. Estheticians cannot legally inject. Ask before you sit in the chair.
- 03
What product brand and concentration?
Real Botox / Dysport / Juvederm with a lot number. If it’s vague ("a similar neurotoxin"), walk out.
None of these three is part of my screen — I have no way to see a licence from the public record. All three are on you to ask, and if they fumble any of them, that’s your sign.

This spa cleared all three website checks: a website that holds up, details that agree, and advertising that stays legal. I report them here; since 2026-09-01 they do not decide the mark, because a spa's own website is not a public record.

I checked the state's licence file, the federal provider registry, the Medical Board's public record, this spa's own website and Google's listing — the lines above say which came back with a record, which came back empty and which I have not read — and I do not rate this spa or recommend it.
